ALL TERRAIN WARRIOR’S SCOUTS: are without doubt, the most capable production offroad motorhomes in the world. They have been designed so as to allow easy and secure containerization and are therefore perfect for international overland travel with the comforts of a full size motorhome. All of our systems and construc tion techniques are drawn from the marine industry which enable the Scouts to be completely independent for extended stays in remote areas. Available in 3 sizes to suit a wide variety of 4x4 truck chassis such as the Fuso FG84 (Canter), Isuzu NPS, Bremach T-Rex or even larger Unimog or MAN TGM.

These Scouts are super tough!!!!! ...... With their moulded foam sandwich and composite construction, we believe they are the strongest camper modules ever built and incorporate the same base frame design and offroad body mounting system that we have used in our 4x4 outback tour buses for over 20 years. This system enables them to be quickly removed and swapped to a new truck once the service life of the base vehicle has been reached.... So they will remain an asset for many years to come.

SWB Scout : body only – 3600 mm long x 2100 mm wide x 1500 mm internal with top down or 2100 mm internal with top up.

MWB Scout: body only – 4200 mm long x 2100 mm wide x 1500 mm internal with top down or 2100 mm internal with top up.

XL Scout : body only – 5200 mm long x 2400 mm wide x 1500 mm internal with top down or 2250 mm internal with top up. Heavy roof load capability for boats, etc.

To date, the most extreme Scouts we have built were all based on the Fuso Canter FG84 Short Wheel Base (SWB) cab/chassis; largely due to the ultra short wheelbase. Off-road agility is phenomenal in this format. The Fuso SWB chassis is actually 120mm shorter than a Landcruiser but due to the “cab-over” design, can accept our smallest SWB Scout body with its cleverly compacted layout. The interior has been designed with all the amenities of a much larger motorhome such as an ensuite with shower and a marine flushing toilet.....no smelly casstettes, what a relief......a well equipped galley and a dining table that drops to form a large 1.45 wide x 2 m long bedalso allows seating for up to six adults if necessary.

Note: SWB bodies can also be adapted to longer chassis to allow extra space for trailbikes or to fit to the rear of Fuso or Isuzu crewcabs.

The Mid Wheel Base (MWB) Scout model is easily the most popular 4x4 motorhome we currently build and although only 600 mm longer than the SWB Scout, offers the flexibility for clients to design their own sleeping / seating layout in the forward section. Some options in that area are extra overhead beds, wrap around lounges, single beds, permanent queen size bed, office/ computer station etc. The number of berths can be up to 5 adults if necessary.

Both of these models when fitted to a Fuso FG 84 or Isuzu NPS can be driven on a car license when de-rated to 4.5 ton but as standard will retain an incredible payload with up to 6.0 ton GVM and 9.2 ton GCM. One of our customers even tows a 24 foot boat through soft sand on Fraser Island!!

An Extra Large (XL) Scout is also available for larger 4x4 trucks such as the MAN TGM or Unimog. Due to the extra height of these trucks, a recessed boat well has been incorporated into the roof so as to keep the same roofline as the truck cabin. A roof top winch and a hydraulic roof-lift system makes boat loading all too easy. The extra interior room and a second outside kitchen converts this vehicle into the perfect campsite for an entire family.

A basic conversion price of $104,500 + GST for the SWB Scout is calculated on the simplest version ever built to a customer’s requestfor a Fuso FG 84 and still included 3 x 68 watt solar laminates with 2 large AGM batteries, electric roof / door / step operation with internal security door, marine macerating toilet, beautifully molded ensuite and galley with granite-look bench tops, “soft-shut” drawers and an Origo marine stove, extra large water capacity, etc...........So as you can see, the Scouts are well equipped and ready for remote travel even in a basic format although we highly recommend our proven off-road modifications and accessory packages for any 4x4 truck. ready for remote travel even in a basic format although we highly recommend our proven off-road modifications and accessory packages for any 4x4 truck.
