This is our latest project build called the ‘Weekend Warrior’ built by ATW. This truck has all the desired ATW 4x4 extras that we are known for such as Off Road Parabolic Spring Suspension, Alloy Single Wheels, Bullbar, and ATW Front Difflock. What is a little different with this truck is the custom made lightweight body and the custom made rear wheel carrier. The body is designed to be light and versatile; it has 2 x large gullwing style doors and has an option to pop the roof if required. It is made from a 32mm composite panel which is strong and very well insulated. There is a whopping 10m3 of storage space in the body and the truck can seat up to 7 people. The rear wheel carrier also incorporates a towbar which is rated at 3.5T and also utilises a15000lb winch for recovery.

This particular ‘Weekend Warrior” is based on a Fuso FGB71 4x4 truck. These trucks have a dual GVM Rating which can either be 4.5T GVM and driven on car licence or 6.5T GVM and driven on a truck licence. This particular vehicle fully fuelled has a tare weight of 3.7T which if on car licence would have a payload of 795kgs and still be able to tow 3.5T. When registered as a 6.5T GVM, it offers a massive payload of 2.8T and still able to tow 3.5T with a total GCM of 10T. ATW also offer the option to be built on the Isuzu NPS & Iveco range.

These vehicles are becoming very popular for working tradesman or people towing large off road vans. For the tradesman is has a lot of room for tools and work equipment through the week, and then it doubles as a potential camper on the weekend. For the grey nomads, it has the capacity to tow, but also offers the option to un-hitch, continue on the adventurous journeys, and still have somewhere to camp without the van.

The ‘Weekend Warrior” is a custom built product by ATW and can be tailor made to suit the customer’s requirement. For more information please contact ATW on (07) 54468666 or sales@allterrainwarriors.com.au.
